A portrait of a boy standing on a stool in a classroom, surrounded by their classmates. Being in black and white with high contrast, the faces and features of the people are difficult to make out, especially on the boy on the stool who has what looks like some form of cloth on his head.

These are my final two images, I put them in black and white as I was inspired by Hicham Benohoud, and I really am happy with the work, I feel like both shots work, maybe even as part of a series. I love the darker tones in the self portrait, all the shadows and textures that give great depth to the photo. And in the portrait I love the soft light that falls into the left side of the frame, and the face that you can see the wall and floor as well as the card that is stuck to the yellow, the subject in the portrait also works well as the face she is doing seems very genuine, like she is showing her true self to the camera.
