Us.
The main idea of the exhibition is to show that we are all made up of memories, if you look in us you see what we have done, what we dream of. I use Polaroids to capture certain points in time, like new years eve and the first bloom of spring. By putting it on the bathroom mirror its meant to capture peoples attention as its something we all use everyday. As well as this by making it the mirror you could have it as interpretive, when you look in the mirror you see yourself, and the memories that you are made up of. For an audience I would just leave it and let people stable upon it, I like the idea that they discover to them selves to then think about their memories. |
I asked my brother what he thought of the exhibition and he said that he liked it, the whole concept of us being made up of our memorise, thats who we are. I also use polaroids for capturing moments in time, and by using them for this exhibition, it shows that some of our favourite memorise could have been one second in our lives, yet they change who we are as people drastically and you can never go back and change them, they are one instant (instant camera)
